Join NM GetEQUAL, elected officials, National & Local Advocates, and others for National Coming Out Day 2011!

We continue to see a rise in bullying in our public school system, youth being terrorized for coming out of “the closet” and more awareness being brought to teen suicides. As a community we can not forget this historic day “National Coming Out Day.” We are seeing many strides, we are coming together, yet so much more needs to be done.

Even here in Albuquerque and all of New Mexico people are afraid to be who they are. Let’s once again come together and show the state, that New Mexico has not and will not forget this amazing community!
