On Ash Wednesday we will enter into one of the most important seasons of the church year—the “40 days” of Lent. Lent is a time in which we reflect on our lives and our relationships to discover and change what we must to prepare for Easter. By focusing on our spiritual life we can experience renewal! Even if Ash Wednesday is not something you have done in the past, come and begin your Lenten Journey on Wednesday, February 17th at 7 pm.
Join us for a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, February 14, immediately following worship services. Cost for adult is only $6 and $3 for children. This is a fundraising event for MCC of Albuquerque – please support the ministries and join us for pancakes!

Who can say what passes through our hearts on Christmas Eve?
Last week we began Advent with the story of the angel Gabriel bringing an important message to the Priest Zechariah. Like so many of us, Zechariah was just going through the motions of his faith. He and his wife Elizabeth had lost hope that one day they would have a child. Yet, God had a plan for Zechariah and Elizabeth – and Elizabeth would later give birth to John, who would be the one to “prepare the way for our Lord.”
