You probably could get along with your family if it just weren’t for the people involved.
Too many times the home front slowly turns into a battlefront where the family fights a daily war. The arsenal if filled with the ammunition of hurtful words fired back and forth at one another. Children get caught in the crossfire and suffer battle fatigue. The home becomes less of a collection of adjoining rooms, and more like separate barracks in various occupied territories. Individuals don’t unite and support one another; to survive, they hunker in their bunkers.
As Dr. Phil would say, How’s that working for you?
