Entering into the Household of Jesus

During these next 6 weeks we will experience Christ, the living, breathing son of God that captivates us with his teaching, embraces us with his love and disarms us with his grace.

Lent is the period of time leading up to Easter.  It is a time of preparation of the believer for the annual commemoration during Holy Week where we reflect on the Death and Resurrection of Jesus. Lent is forty days long, and represents the time that Jesus spent in the wilderness before the beginning of his public ministry.

Ash Wednesday

On Ash Wednesday we will enter into one of the most important seasons of the church year—the “40 days” of Lent. Lent is a time in which we reflect on our lives and our relationships to discover and change what we must to prepare for Easter.  By focusing on our spiritual life we can experience renewal!  Even if Ash Wednesday is not something you have done in the past, come and begin your Lenten Journey on Wednesday, February 17th at 7 pm.

Under Pressure? Try a Practice.

Small GroupsLent is a time to learn, re-learn and practice what it means to be a follower of Jesus, especially in times like these.  At MCC of Albuquerque we will have small groups you can connect with during this season of Lent.  Do something different this season, join a small group!  Call the church office for more information.  268.5252.
