Jesus said we were to go out and make disciples of all nations, and sometimes those nations include our own backyards and community.

We all know people we can invite to church — people who are new to the area, those who are searching for meaning, and those who may be experiencing difficult times. Give them an invitation to join you at church at MCCA! Worship is every Sunday at 10:30 am.

Materials will be provided for creating Christmas Sun Catchers, Origami Angels, Dazzling Christmas Stars, and more.  At 5:00pm we will have a potluck dinner, lots of fellowship, and fun!  If your family would be able to bring food or art materials to this event or have any questions please contact Meg Freestone at 385.6531.

We Need to purchase or have donated – ($30.00 would cover all needed materials) multicolor pom-poms, craft sticks/Popsicle sticks (multi sized pack if possible), assorted rhinestones, stars, paper doilies,etc.

Too many times the home front slowly turns into a battlefront where the family fights a daily war.   The arsenal if filled with the ammunition of hurtful words fired back and forth at one another.   Children get caught in the crossfire and suffer battle fatigue.   The home becomes less of a collection of adjoining rooms, and more like separate barracks in various occupied territories.   Individuals don’t unite and support one another; to survive, they hunker in their bunkers.

Strong loving families raise children who build strong loving relationships, inside and outside the fort called home.   We want to raise strong loving children because, among other reasons, they are the foundation for our future and God is the foundation we build upon, for ‘unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain’ Psalm 127:1.

How we get along with one another will determine if we live in a war zone or live in peace.

It’s  tough raising a family or maintaining a healthy relationship in today’s environment.  But you are not alone.  Our church is dedicated to helping you build a strong loving relationship and  family.  Our children need ethics and decency.  It’s not going to be found at your local theater.  The only place it can be found is in God’s Word, the feature and main attraction at your local church.   Investing in the ministry is investing in your family and an eternal blessing.

When unbelievers face a crisis or turning point in their lives, they search for answers from authentic believers who may have shared the same struggles.  In most cases, they silently observe day by day with inquiring minds, listening to your conversations and keeping a watchful eye on how you handle life’s struggles and disappointments.   People are looking for an authentic relationship with God. They look to see if your personal relationship with God makes an authentic difference.

Are non-Christians searching for what we have? Absolutely!   It is our mission to go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. When tragedy hits our neighborhood, we can offer our neighbors the peace that passes all understanding- the only good news that can make an eternal difference in their lives.

The church needs you! You need the church! Believers are the fuel for ministries.   Twelve willing workers changed the world, but they did it together. Just imagine what we can do together as a church, as we change our community and world.   Pray that God will minister to you, as you minister to others.
