Collection for Haiti

MCC Churches are collecting funds to support the MCC Congregation in the Dominican Republic, for those members who are Haitian and their families with direct support. Funds will also go to support a HIV & AIDS organization in Haiti that has been devastated by the earthquake.  To contribute through MCC of Albuquerque, please indicate on your check or envelope “Haiti Relief.” Thank you for your generosity.

The gospel of Mark ends with Christ giving his followers their marching order to go into the entire world with his message. After Jesus’ resurrection he ministered for 40 more days on earth before his ascension into heaven, then the disciple banned together to follow his order.

Vision of Victory

Sometimes the biggest obstacle to overcoming what separates us from doing great things for God is simply our eyesight.

Remember in Numbers 13 when the Israelite spies returned from Canaan and were overwhelmed with the obstacles to God’s promised future?   The obstacles were GIANTS! They were so big that the Israelites felt like grasshoppers.

Corrie Ten Boom, the Dutch Christian woman who survived the Nazi death camps said, Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.
